About the Division
The A.C.E. Unit is a unified support force of the Office of the Sheriff, Blackshear Police Department, and the Patterson Police Department. The division is responsible for investigations of crimes committed in Pierce County, Georgia. The division is currently under the command of CAPT. Kevin Britt.
The responsibilities for investigating crimes are assigned according to the type of crime involved. Areas of responsibility are but no limited to include: domestic violence, sex crimes, person crimes, burglary, financial crimes, forensics, and the Drug Task Force (DTF).
