- Where is the Courthouse? The Main Courthouse is located at 3550 US Highway 84 while the Courthouse Annex is at located at 312 Nichols Street.
- Payment for Traffic Fines: The State Court clerk is located on the 1st floor of the Main Courthouse.
- Jury Duty: If you receive a jury summons, you may contact the Clerk of Court at (912) 449-2020 for any questions that you may have or visit the Main Courthouse. The clerk’s office is located on the 1st floor. As you enter the courthouse your bags will be searched and any loose items on your person will be placed in the bowl before proceeding thru the metal detector. Once thru, you may be required to submit to further examination by the Deputy on duty. Once completed, you will be allowed to retrieve any bags from the Deputy on duty.
- Gun Permits & Marriage License: If you’re in need of a marriage license or pistol permit, proceed to the Probate Court located on the 1st floor. Probate Court staff will assist you.
- Peace Warrants & Bad Checks Dispossessory warrants and good behavior warrants are issued by the Magistrate Court on the first floor. Visit the Magistrate Court Website at www.piercecountyga.org
- All tax payments, voter registration, codes & planning, tax assessors, county HR, Board of Commissioner, and the A.C.E. Unit are located at the Nichols Street Courthouse Annex.
