About the Division
The A.C.E. Unit is the criminal investigative division of the Sheriff’s Office. The division is responsible for investigations of crimes committed in Pierce County, Georgia. The division is currently under the command of Captain Kevin Britt.
The responsibilities for investigating crimes are assigned according to the type of crime involved. Areas of responsibility are but not limited to include: domestic violence, sex crimes, person crimes, burglary, financial crimes, forensics, and the Drug Task Force (DTF).
